Michelle Williams, currently in contention for two Emmys (as lead actress and producer) for the Hulu limited series *Dying for Sex*, recently popped in for a schmooze with **'s *The Awardist *podcast. (We've got the really good snacks.)
While her new comedic drama series rightfully occupied much of the conversation, there was some time devoted to some "classic Michelle moments" — including one or two you might have forgotten about.
To wit: Michelle Williams was on *Baywatch*?

Indeed, the five-time Academy Award nominee made her television debut on the beach-and-bathing-suit series way back in 1993 with the episode "Race Against Time, Part I," the season 4 premiere.
The character had a name, Bridget Bowers, and she had a crush on Jeremy Jackson's character Hobie. (Who wouldn't?) But when Williams returned 11 episodes later, she was simply listed "Hobie's Groupie." The question on everyone's mind has long been: Are they the same person?
"Whoa... I mean...," Williams responded, her mind clearly blown when host Gerrad Hall asked her.

"I don't know who is equipped to answer that question," she continued while chuckling. "Not me. That might be some stuff for the chat."
In fact, Williams didn't have *too *many memories from her brief time working on the legendary drowning-prevention show. "I don't remember much," she reflected. "I just remember the bikini hanging in my trailer."
When asked if being in the presence of "a *Baywatch* bikini" was scary or intimidating, she thought for a moment and settled on "I mean...I don't...think I was 12."
She continued, "I didn't know what thoughts to think. It was all kind of experience and very little processing."

Don't feel too bad if you forgot that the* Fabelmans *and *Manchester by the Sea *star once trod the shores of Will Rogers State Beach while shooting *Baywatch*. There are a slew of performers who also made appearances on that show that, in retrospect, are a little surprising. Among them: Bryan Cranston, David Spade, Mila Kunis, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Shaggy. Everyone likes a day at the beach.
Anyhow, the good people at *Baywatch *occasionally upload short high-resolution clips of the series to YouTube, so 12-year-old Michelle Williams' big scene is right here, ready to blow your mind. She had the goods, even back then!**
